We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to own the identification, analysis and provide insights that drive operational change management across our Global Sales and Service organizations. You will generate insights for product and sales execution improvements that accelerate our ability to move Advertisers through their customer lifecycle and help our global advertisers, big and small, get discovered by millions of people looking for things to plan, buy and do. You’ll work directly with global leadership on improving our operational excellence to drive both increases in effectiveness and efficiency. You’ll use strategic thinking and data expertise to make recommendations to improve our Sales and Service operations, influence product and engineering roadmaps, and work directly with leadership and frontline sales/service teams to help make Pinterest even better.
What you’ll do:
- Perform complex analysis, join multiple data sets, find actionable insights and present to C-level stakeholders.
- Experience in using SQL,Tableau, ETLs to identify business issues, performing data analysis, identification of insights and driving change management.
- Identify operational pain points; use data to size, prioritize and recommend solutions.
- Identify and lead cross-functional global strategic initiatives to improve the operational excellence of Pinterest’s Sales and Service organization.
- Improve Sales efficiency and effectiveness by data driven insights that can improve the speed and quality of advertiser experience working with our Sales and Service teams.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytical analysis and strategy. Able to work with data to identify trends and develop solutions.
- Comfortable working with data and making data-driven decisions. Ability to think both creatively and critically, willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to clearly and consistently work side-by-side across functions and departments synthesizing multiple points of view, and influencing leaders and peers to execute a coherent action plan.
- Ability to manage through ambiguous and subjective situations, including balancing strategic orientation and operational efficiency to ensure we deliver what is “right” for the customer.
- Passion for Pinterest’s mission, supporting businesses and improving the product experience.
- Strong preference for past roles in management/strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, business operations, sales operations or systems operations.
Colorado based applicants only:
- The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $109,500 to $164,200 in Colorado;
- This position is eligible for equity; and

- This compensation and benefits information is based on Pinterest’s good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, travel, shift requirements, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.
