Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :
1. Job Requirements: Candidate must be an experienced Business Analyst with an excellent academic and professional background. Should have strong understanding of and exposure to the analytic needs of organizations in the Banking and Financial services domain. Business Analysts will be working on enriching Company’s patented Data Model, as well as aligning the existing model with emergent needs in the space. Business Analysts will be required to have and gain knowledge on popular source systems ( like VisionPlus, Temenos, Bancs, FinOne etc. ) that contain data required by the models, and building relevant data maps that facilitate easier integration of Company’s Analytic products at the client’s environment. Business Analysts will own and manage delivery of various Analytic Product releases – ensuring that the required Project Management rigour is followed to ensure quality and timely delivery.
2. Responsibilities:
Research and evolve data models for additional domains within the Financial Services space. Must be willing to work on other industry domains if required.
Create and maintain Data Dictionaries and sample data mapping documents by mapping comonly used source systems to the elements in the data dictionary.
Continually scan changes emerging out of evolving industry and client requirements and modify the model – as per the model enrichment process – to handle the new requirements.
Collaborate with BI Developers and engineers to collate Analytic requirements and create design documents for reports, dashboards and alerts.
Work across the full product development lifecycle, including functional specifications, testing, training and deployment management
Communicate project & product development progress to stakeholders, IT team members and technology partners
Identify, mitigate and control all project risks and issues
Work with all parties to ensure deliverables are met within set timeframes and budgets
3. Experience:
4+ years of proven Business Analyst experience including Stakeholder Management experience in a retail banking and financial services domain. Exposure to Consumer lending or Business Banking (SME segment) is required for this position
In depth understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing and strong exposure to these environments
Working experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Business Objects, Microstrategy etc will be preferred.
4. Qualifications:
B Tech from IIT or equivalent institute in any discipline. MBA for a premier institute like IIM or equivalents will be a plus
Should be willing to travel internationally for client interactions as required by the organization.
Should have good interpersonal skills, strong client facing and communication skills, and good negotiation skills. Should possess excellent problem solving skills and an ability to drive collaborative (win-win) outcomes
Should be a fast and willing learner. Demonstrated agility to rapidly adopt to new domains and platforms is a must.
Willingness and ability to work under challenging deadlines; self-driven and motivated within a rapidly changing environment
