Job Detail:
BUSINESS ANALYST
Temporary-to-hire role with our client located west of Pittsburgh, PA.
Work Environment: Hybrid (On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and as business needs require)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in continuous improvement by focusing on business process development and analysis, maintaining documentation, and triaging and monitoring reported issues or questions to support the execution of department functions.
- Act as a liaison between the department and the technology development teams when process improvement activities result in technology/system development projects
- Become a ‘subject matter expert’ for designated business processes and the associated system functions
- Model existing business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead the implementation of process changes in support of the operations and process leadership
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required in business, technology, or organizational leadership
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in cross-functional business process analysis, business process management, or business analysis
- Formal process training preferred – TQM, Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc.
- Excellent meeting facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with information technology development concepts
- Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
