Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:
- Understanding and experience with one or more of the following or equivalent technologies – Informatica, Collibra, Alation, Zaloni;
- Designing and developing Data Governance technology solutions that span data quality, data dictionary & business glossaries, data standards and policies; data lineage and catalogs, cloud data platforms, responsible AI and ML Ops processes;
- Understanding of Data Governance operating model that includes designing Data Governance organization, roles and responsibilities, success metrics;
- Creating detailed documentation related to Data Governance processes and policies;
- Having familiarity of one or more is a big plus – CCPA, GDPR, data privacy and security standards;
- Understanding of cloud data architecture and data integration patterns, data element naming conventions, data quality processes and KPIs, metadata management;
- Understanding of enterprise data concepts such as Master Data Management and Enterprise Data Warehouse, experience with MDM standards;
- Understanding or knowledge in SQL, report generation using visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI, programming using Python/Spark; and,
- Supporting Data Governance team and leads in creation of Data Governance plans, roadmap, success metrics, and assessment of client’s enterprise data systems.
Demonstrates thorough level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs:
- Demonstrating prior Big 4 or proven consulting experience in strategy through execution projects;
- Working with large Data Governance or Enterprise Information Management programs;
- Working closely with business stakeholders to capture and document business objectives/requirements;
- Collaborating with technology teams and architects to define and develop technology solutions;
- Willing to learn and apply modern, cloud based technology skills;
- Implementing collaboration and teaming approach;
- Demonstrating critical thinking and problem solving methods and skills; and,
- Using appropriate facilitation techniques to gain agreement or move others to action.
