Are you detail-oriented and do you possess strong organizational and technology skills that you can use to improve program efficiencies? We are seeking a Business Services Administrator (BSA) for the Homeless Services Division to assist the Senior Business Service Administrator (SBSA) who manages multiple grants that fund homeless services in our community. The ideal candidate will have financial acumen and skill in tracking expenditures, monitoring metrics and interpreting data. Also, someone who can communicate with our service partners about all aspects of grants management.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The successful candidate will work closely with the SBSA. Together, they will work with the Prince William Area Continuum of Care (CoC), a collaboration of organizations from Prince William, Manassas and Manassas Park focused on making homelessness rare, brief and non-reoccurring. To be successful in the role you must be able to assist the SBA (CoC Lead) in the coordination of CoC policies and procedures to ensure the coordination of homeless services. To also assist with various aspects of the PWA CoC homeless system to address issues, challenges, and gaps in service. To assist the SBA in writing and completing grant applications for the HUD CoC grant application and the DHCD state application. To coordinate the writing and updating of contracts, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Memorandums of Agreements (MOA)/ Memorandums of Understanding (MOU). This also includes the processing of request for reimbursements for contracts and MOA/MOUs. To take on special projects that help promote the continuum of homeless services.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 4 years of related experience.
PREFERENCES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Management, Human Services, Social Work or a related field.
- 4-years experience operating homeless services programs.
- 4-years experience writing grants and monitoring grant recipients.
- 4-years experience working with a Continuum of Care (CoC).
- Ability to use Microsoft suite and Teams, WebEx, and other virtual platforms.
- Experience with Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Mon- Fri 37.5 hours per week.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: All DSS staff members are required to provide emergency human services work in the event of an emergency or community disaster. You must pass local, state and federal background checks and have a valid driver’s license.
ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $58,634.00 – $87,812.00 Annually
