We’re ready to help you achieve more.Purpose:Athene is seeking an innovative and motivated professional to join a collaborative team that uses data analysis and predictive modeling to target marketing, distribution, and operational initiatives, measure results, and inform decision making and strategy. In this role, you’ll support Athene’s industry leading growth path through the planning and execution of the complete analytics life cycle of client, prospect, and distribution engagements; particularly through the development of propensity to sell, churn prediction, marketing attribution, and sales forecasting models.Accountabilities:Plan and execute the complete life cycle for analytics and modeling projects, including the development, validation, and re-training of predictive models.Oversee and participate in the collection, management, and analysis of internal & external data to support database, data analysis and modeling initiatives. Produce sound statistical analyses, forecasts, and predictive models utilizing multivariate analysis, variable reduction, and interaction detection. Responsible for presenting analysis & modeling findings to technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels and assisting in the implementation of results in ongoing business processes.Strong understanding of data governance to ensure best practices are followed relating to business intelligence deployment, delivery, and security.Build, implement, and maintain predictive models for marketing programs and sales efforts, including ongoing scoring, evaluation, and recalibration. Forecasting models for customer retention, cross-sell, and other marketing, operational, and distribution focused efforts.Leverage data mining and analysis to provide insights on business, customer, and distribution growth opportunities.Collaborate with IT partners on database maintenance and enhancements.Maintain documentation for all models and processes. Identify, define, and implement new process improvement opportunities, where applicable.Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools. Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree (Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or Business) or equivalent required; Master’s Degree desired.4+ years work experience in marketing analytics, data analytics, data science or related professional experience required.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Experience designing and utilizing generalized linear regression, decision trees, clustering methods, and other statistical modeling or machine learning techniques. Experience in data mining using analytical tools such as SAS and common languages such as SQL, R, or Python.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or another data visualization tool desired. Experience with relational databases with ability to merge and analyze data from various sources and of differing formats.Proficiency in data cleaning techniques.Ability to manage a variety of projects and tasks simultaneously and deliver solutions on time and within requirements.Proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and PowerPoint.Drive.
