Position Specific Description The position will focus on data science efforts, dashboard development, and risk analysis for the Strategy and Analytics and Credit Risk teams within Revenue Management. The selected candidate will be working with the Strategy and Analytics Manager and other Business Analysts on staff to support special Data Science and Analytics projects as needed, along with operational deliverables and ad hoc projects using SAS, R, Python, or Excel. The ideal candidate should have intermediate Python/R or relevant programming language, intermediate knowledge of SQL, intermediate knowledge of PowerBI development, advanced knowledge of MS Excel, effective problem-solving skills, good organizational skills, attention to detail, highly effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact with all management levels. Candidates must have cumulative GPA of 3.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining AI based prediction models to improve business performance
Automation through Python scripting and dashboard development
Conducting data analysis supporting key business unit initiatives
Proficient in data science, analytics, and data investigation using SQL or other database programs languages to obtain actionable insights
Proficient in Python, R, SAS, or other analytics tools
Expert in MS Excel
Developing cloud-based dashboards identifying actionable trends to support business needs
Proficient in PowerBI

Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
