Job Role
ProgenyHealth is seeking a talented Jr. Data Analyst to join our Information Technology team. The Jr. Data Analyst will work directly with the Data Analysts on the Enterprise Analytics team within a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) model, using agile methods within DevOps to develop new analytics features for internal stakeholders and external clients. In addition, this role will develop interactive visualizations within Tableau to allow analysts, clinicians, and leaders to have an engaging, ad-hoc lite experience with the data (filtering, sorting, drilling-down) to facilitate good decision-making while providing ongoing support for dashboards, excel flat files, master data management and metadata management layers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Track and update work within Azure DevOps using best practices.
- Deploy work through our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) model.
- Provide ongoing support for dashboards, reports, master data management and metadata management layers.
- Investigate performance issues with dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc query environments and mitigate those issues.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn how to develop highly optimized queries across large volumes of data.
- Desire to create and manage reports and interactive dashboards in Tableau.
- Working knowledge of the difference between relational and dimensional data models.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sensitivity to stakeholder needs and able to develop warm relationships.
- Curiosity and passion about data, visualization and solving problems.
- Enjoyment from collaborating with others in team environment.
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- B.S. degree in data management, computer science, information technology or equivalent technical field.
