PSECU, a high-tech, progressive financial institution with more than $8 billion in assets, is seeking a Revenue Growth & Lending Data Reporting Analyst who provides comprehensive research, analysis, and reporting for the organization in support of the activities and functions of the Revenue Growth & Lending Business Units. The Reporting Analyst develops methods and processes to extract, organize and transform data into useful and actionable information using queries, dashboards, reports and other available tools. The Data Reporting Analyst provides analysis and recommendations relative to the development, meaning, and impact of the data.
The analyst will routinely manage multiple, competing priorities and projects. The analyst will regularly collaborate with PSECU staff and outside vendors, consultants, and other specialists to successfully complete their tasks and projects. The analyst will be expected to routinely deliver reports via standard reporting methods, including verbal presentations.
Analytical thinking, organizational skills, independence, interpersonal skills, and both written and verbal communication skills are essential to this position.
This is a hybrid schedule working remotely with a minimum onsite expectation of 20%, or as needed.
What will you do?
- Gather, interpret, and document query, report, and dashboard requirements from business unit managers, analysts, and other end-users.
- Define report, dashboard, and query specifications. Provide recommendations on criteria, data sources, and data usage based upon subject matter expertise.
- Develop dashboards, trending summaries, and visualizations incorporating data from various sources, reports, and business units/processes to track and monitor departmental objectives, goals, and KPIs
- Assist with the development and implementation of data warehouse schemas, tables, and views for ongoing management and reporting of Fintech partnerships, Loan Participations, and other strategic efforts, to include data mapping, automation and timing requirements, and data validation
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Data Management units for ongoing evaluation, enhancements, and updates of RG&L data sources and structures within organizational data warehouse
- Develop efficient, technically sound queries using Transact SQL querying language and other available querying tools and languages
- Analyze, evaluate, integrate, and re-write existing reports in accordance with new products & services, process changes, projects, reporting system conversions and other organizational initiatives
What makes you a great fit?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Data Analytics,
And 3 years’ experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Report Writing focus.
Or any equivalent combination of experience and education.
