Job Description & Summary

Position Requirements
Must Have:
- Experience in Data Conversion / Data Migration / Data warehousing projects using ETL tools like Informatica PC, Datastage, SSIS, ODI etc.,
- Experience in DW/BI Deployments. Must have proven experience with Star and Snowflake Schema techniques
- Experience in Data Modeling and Data Architecture
- Data extraction from different sources such as SQL Server, Teradata, flat files, Excel, and XML files
- Should be proficient using Master Data Management and Data Quality
- Strong SQL Skills and performance tuning capabilities
- Develop and deploy ETL/ELT job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback.
- Manage foundational data administration tasks such as scheduling jobs, troubleshooting job errors, identifying issues with job windows, assisting with Database backups and performance tuning.
- Design, Develop, Test, Adapt ETL/ELT code & jobs to accommodate changes in source data and new business requirements.
- Proactively communicate innovative ideas, solutions, and capabilities over and above specific task requests
- Strong knowledge in DWH concepts
- Support ETL developers by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting and alternative development solutions.
- Participate in design review sessions and ensure all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
- Should have clear understanding of DW Lifecycle and contributed in preparing technical design documents and test plans
- Good analytical & problem-solving skills
- Good communication and presentation skills

Desired Knowledge / Skills
- Experience / Knowledge on other ETL tools like Snaplogic, Talend, Pentaho etc.,
- Sound knowledge on Cloud environment like AWS, Azure, IICS
- Worked in Offshore / Onsite Engagements
- Cloud data technologies, Data Lake, Big Data, Snowflake DB (Cloud), Red Shift
- Should have expertise in Third party schedulers (Cronicle, UC4, etc.,)
