Job Description & Summary

Our PwC Intelligence team is responsible for serving as a strategic business partner for an assigned customer to identify and pursue new opportunities, conduct market analysis, and prepare revenue projections. The L&D Data Quality Team is essential to implementing components of L&D’s Data Governance Strategy, with a vision of driving a disciplined approach to caring for L&D data that ensures compliance, integrity, and trust across the data lifecycle. They will work collaboratively across L&D, People, and US Technology to build a data culture that ensures learning data is defined, consistent, of good quality, used correctly, available, and accessible in a controlled manner.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Data Quality Team Leader to execute data governance strategy.
  • Use the requirements to conduct proactive data quality assessments by applying those business rules to the production data
  • Collaborate with US Technology and L&D data stewards to actively monitor the quality of L&D data
  • Translates business data quality requirements into the relevant form for use by both business and technical teams
  • builds and develops data quality rules, analyzes data quality results, researches data quality issues and root causes, executes data fixes and clean up projects, populates the business data glossary and maintains data models
  • Ensures controls and other mechanisms are in place to support the quality of managed data
  • Monitors and reports on data quality assessments and escalates issues to Data Quality Team Lead, US technology, or other impacted teams.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience with data analytics role
  • At least 2 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI or MicroStrategy, structured relational databases, data wrangling tools like Alteryx, Microsoft 365 power apps, and automation tools like UI Path.
  • Ability to leverage interactive visual interfaces and dashboards (Tableau, Qlikview, Microsoft Power BI) to illustrate or communicate information.
  • Knowledge of database query tools like TOAD, MS Access including advanced SQL coding skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data quality management tools (e.g. Informatica)
  • Experience working with enterprise learning and or human capital applications or databases containing employee data and reporting platforms is a plus.
  • Understands data pain points within L&D and broader People organization and can lead data quality initiative to address them proactively
  • Effective at project management, working across multiple L&D, People, and Technology teams
  • Passion for data and data enabled business process improvements
  • Strong analytical skills used to determine root cause of issues
  • Strong communicator across diverse backgrounds and cultural difference
  • Demonstrates ownership of problem/issue resolution with emphasis on delivering high quality service to requestors
