The Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) Developer is a senior technical solutions expert who ensures that Quantum Health’s platforms and data seamlessly integrate with a large number of third parties/vendors in a reliable, consistent and efficient manner. They build processes and solutions that satisfy the technical and data requirements of the business, our vendor partners, clients and stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Build, deploy, enhance and maintain a variety of vendor integrations in SQL Server Integration Services and T-SQL.
- Develop and maintain C# .NET programs.
- Partner with Data Analysts or Business Partners to ensure integration requirements are satisfied
- Build processes and solutions that satisfy the technical and data requirements of the business, our vendor partners, clients and stakeholders.
- Support existing processes by analyzing and tuning queries, implementing performance enhancements, and more.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, such as query performance, data integration anomalies, etc.
- All other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or other related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) with strong conceptual knowledge re: normalization, constraints, etc.
- 3-4+ years’ proven ETL experience.
- 1-2 years’ experience with Data Warehouse concepts; data modeling experience preferred.
- Required Technical Experience: C# .NET, VB .NET, SQL Server Integration Services, T-SQL/Stored Procedures, Cloud integration experience preferred (Amazon Web Services – AWS or Azure)
- Data modeling experience preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable translating technical information to non-technical audiences at all levels of the business.
- Ability to work with team members and customers in a professional, friendly manner both in-person and virtually.
- Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
- Trustworthy and accountable behavior, capable of viewing and maintaining confidential information daily.
