Job Location: Stafford, TX
Quest Integrity, a global leader in inspection and engineering services, is seeking a Data Analyst who will be responsible for accurate and timely analysis of ultrasonic in-line inspection data while working with rest of pipeline services team to efficiently process and analyze data. The Data Analyst will support assessment engineers with fitness-for-service assessments and finalization of reports for state-of-the-art inline inspections of pipelines.
Positon located in Stafford, Texas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and analyze data that has been acquired during an in-line inspection
- Support engineers in fitness-for-purpose assessments of pipeline condition
- Communicate clearly with colleagues
- Provide recommendations to drive improvements in processes and deliverables:
Aid in Standardizing processes and procedures
Aid in training
Create suggestions for software improvement
- Act in accordance with all company policies required as part of the data analysis and engineering assessment deliverable activities
- Comply with all local governmental requirements as set forth to perform required duties
- Make safety a top priority at all times
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Further education preferred
- Requires excellent ability to represent the company in a professional manner with regard to communicating and interfacing with clients and capable of maintaining confidentiality
- Capable of making independent decisions/recommendations which can have immediate or time dependent consequences associated with pipeline integrity
- Requires a strong ability to sustain focus on one or more tasks while avoiding distractions.
- Requires a high level of ability to maintain concentration and focus on a task for a sustained period of time
- Willingness to handle repetitive tasks
- Requires an ability to focus on important information and ignore irrelevant distractions
- Requires pattern recognition and spatial thinking skill.
- Must be customer focused, have an excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to work in a team environment
- Must have excellent numerical skills
- Must be proficient in English (verbal and written)
