In this role, you will:
- Develop BI/BA Applications utilizing advanced data visualization techniques
- Leverage Modern BI Architecture and emerging technologies in the web/mobile space to deliver new capabilities and value for business users and end customers
- Quickly prototypes and iterates on ideas
- Act as a key member of the OIC Data & Analytics team, providing input into group strategy, motivation and development
- Analyze design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
- Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support actives
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum 6 years of professional experience.
Desired Characteristics/Technical Expertise
o Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
o Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting/scripting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, Python or ETL frameworks)
o Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
o Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
o Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
o Expert-level knowledge of Modern BI/BA Platforms- PowerBI, Spotfire, AWS, Salesforce (Tableau) and SAP
o Export-level knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform, including OneDrive, SharePoint, PowerApps and PowerAutomate
o Experience with web technologies such as HTML and CSS Integration of same with Data Visualization tools (e.g. extensions) a plus
o Business Acumen: Delivers results when working on shorter-term (weeks-months), outcome-focused service engagements
o Articulates the value proposition of existing technology capabilities and maps them to customer requirements to minimize the incremental cost of development
o Uses teamwork skills to understand vision, achieve goals, solve problems, and manage conflict. Identifies individual differences
o Produces functional area information in sufficient detail for cross-functional teams to utilize, using presentation and storytelling concepts
