Department Overview (Product Control Analytics Support)
The Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Line of Business Finance Teams report to the Head of CIB Finance and manages the finance functions directly supporting the Wells Fargo CIB Line of Business. CIB consists of Market, Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and International.
PCAS Finance team manages a team of subject matter experts providing very detailed functional support to Product controllers.
- Creating new Source to target mapping for fresh data flow.
- Streamlining data transformation logics and backend processes.
- Managing change management and doing impact analysis.
- Database performance monitoring.
- Building proof of concepts for new business requirements.
- Maintaining a team characterized by deep functional and technical subject matter expertise, and a team culture consistent with the Companys Vision and Values.
- About the Role
- This role requires a developed understanding of Current processes and expertise in data analysis, reviewing database objects and building proof of concepts for new reports using advanced SQL. This knowledge is required to lead the activities of executing on the Risk and Controls model, collaborate within and across teams. This role will ensure documentation covering multiple functions as team member will be implementing several projects collaborating with IT as a part of this initiative with all the below daily responsibilities and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Requirement collection and preparation of the Business Requirement document.
- Developing SQL codes as per Business requirement document to create automated reports.
- Developing Power BI Dashboards.
- Creating backend scripts for testing and validating the changes.
- Perform functional and regression testing for the changes/enhancements.
- Lead the team deliverables in Agile framework and active usage of JIRA tool to achieve the same.
- Act as Project Manager for all the assigned items and work with IT Team and stakeholders.
- Analyze the existing queries for performance enhancement.
- Handling Ad-hoc queries and Troubleshooting.
- Essential Qualifications
- B. Tech (IT)/BSC (CS)/MSC (CS) OR M.B.A degree with 10+ yrs. of relevant experience.
- Excellent understanding of SQL programming and Power BI.
- Proven leadership, team building and cross functional partnership skills.
- Strong understanding of the source to target mapping, analyzing & creating transformation logics.
- Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in global teams.
- Proficient in working with complex data model, especially associated with building new product.
- Advanced desktop skills in MS Office products especially MS Excel and MS Access and tools like SQL, Tableau, Power BI
- Experience in researching and resolving Data flow issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain partnership with key stakeholders and partners.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be agile, flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
