Director Data & Analytics Enablement
Rapid7’s Data Platform is seeking a Director of Data and Analytics Enablement to take our internal data platform to the next level of maturity and adoption. We are looking for a data leader with a proven track record of growing and developing internal data communities and high performing data teams. An ideal candidate will have a passion for enabling others by providing best in class analytical tooling, techniques and programs.

As we spearhead a cultural shift to a data-driven business, Data Engineering serves as the Hub for all teams at Rapid7 from ML Ops, to Sales and Operations to Platform and Engineering

In this role, you will:

Drive cultural change ensuring data initiatives are understood and adopted by the organization. Build a more robust discipline around data analytics, particularly in product groups, and foster a culture of data sharing

Drive an internal transformation to reach the next level of maturity for our data practices by infusing data and analytics skills into the business and enabling a discipline of data informed decision making.

Drive and develop a team of professionals in the areas of data tooling ownership and analytic enablement, with a special focus on product analytics. Gain buy-in across stakeholders for your vision, including with executive leadership and leaders across key organizations.

Develop a plan and delivery roadmap, with a clear view of outcomes, measurements of success and business benefits

Work on strategic cross team initiatives. Understand data needs across the organization and partner with Data Engineering and other critical teams to deliver an impactful end to end solution.

Enable a wide range of internal teams across the company on our analytics platform and assets so that they may drive change within their organizations.
The skills you’ll bring include:

A diverse background in data and analytics. Able to talk through a problem space with stakeholders and establish the best solution leveraging any tools available and working with any team necessary.

Works well in a matrixed organization, driving alignment by synthesizing data and presenting to executives, product managers, engineers and designers.

Sharp business and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at senior levels across business units to drive change and achieve common goals

Ability to articulate technology strategies and requirements to scale data usage and analysis across the enterprise

Experience building and leading data organizations. Successful experience advocating for analytics value across the business and to diverse audiences

Hands-on experience leading the evaluation, implementation and management of data and analytical tooling

An understanding of core product analytics concepts including web analytics, SaaS metrics and product sentiment.

Experience with analytical tools such as Amplitude, Tableau, SQL, dbt, R, Python

Minimum 12 Years of Experience in data and analytics

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
