Job Description: Junior Python Developer
We are seeking a Junior Python Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside senior developers and technical leads to develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications. You will be responsible for writing clean, scalable code and implementing best practices in software development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Python-based applications and web services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Python and its ecosystems (Django, Flask, etc.)
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Familiarity with ORM libraries and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal GitHub repositories
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹300,000.00 – ₹350,000.00 per year
