Raytheon Technologies RIS Strategic Technical Improvement iNitiative Group (STING) is seeking a data analytics/solutions engineer to support mission assurance metrics and reporting. STING is responsible for providing solutions tools and advanced analytics including dashboards and metrics to help ensure success of the Strategic and Applied Mission Assurance (SAMA) team which include supplier assurance, product/hardware/factory assurance, systems assurance, and software quality engineering. This person will develop, implement, and create actionable data visualization tools and comprehensive solutions enabling mission success
The candidate will be required to develop analytic and automation solutions using enterprise standard tools, provide required training to stakeholders along with analyze data, trends, and metrics and proactively provide tactical recommendations based on that analysis. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the quality and accuracy of reports and metrics by partnering with the Digital Technology team and other functional representatives, as needed. In addition to day-to-day tasks, this role will also be involved with several special projects to continue supporting RIS SAMA organization. The successful candidate will have an analytical mindset, able to influence others to drive action, and effectively communicate with all levels of management.
Required skills:
- 10 years of related work experience
- Proficient with Tableau dashboard design and development of metrics
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting applications (i.e. SAP and Business Warehouse)
- Experience with PowerBI
- Experience with Sharepoint
- Expert in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to analyze and review data for issue identification
- Business acumen and ability to transform data into information
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time criticality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience as a change agent, able to energize and influence across all levels
U.S. Citizenship required, as the candidate must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security
Desired skills:
- Experience with SAP BOBJ and Web Intelligence
- Some design experience of EtQ Reliance Closed Loop Corrective Action system application
- Some experience in Excel Macros and Microsoft Access
- Experience in Jira
- Experience in Stages/IPDS
- Project management
Required Education:
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in engineering, quality or related field with 10 or more years of experience. An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience may be considered.
