Business Analyst- Pharma Execution

Scope
- The BA will provide a combination of commercial and technical expertise and, where required leadership, to the business on projects involving assessment, design, development, implementation and support of business solutions. The key objective of this role is to bridge the gap between the business needs and the technical team (both 3rd party and internal) and to help successfully deliver projects within diverse and challenging space.
- For new deployments, the Business Analyst will be heavily involved at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle from initial scoping and planning exercises through to the detailed analysis and collaboration with the global/area teams to deliver working software.
Responsibilities
General responsibilities within the BA role will typically cover:
- Deliver against agreed strategy and objectives on time, within budget and quality.
- Ensure alignment with global and regional Reckitt Benckiser standards and services provided to the business.
- Ensure highest level of security and internal control in all implemented IS solutions.
- If required, lead the design, development and deployment of global solutions in line with global standards.
- Compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Business and Application Support
- Analysis of business process workflow within specific systems and make recommendations for process improvement.
- Assist in the enhancement/modification of business systems through analysis, clarification and definition of user requirements.
- Identification of work or specification of system change requests to provide standard solutions to identified issues.
- Working with development resources to design, build, test and implement changes/fixes to systems.
- Acting as the voice of the business throughout the development process.
- Identification and sharing of best practice to drive further commonality in systems.
- Development and delivery of training material to end users on all standard applications.
- Maintaining and updating SOP (standard operating procedures) and other relevant documentation for the existing processes and applications.
- Proactive management of support issues, including liaison with suppliers.
Project Work
- Supporting the global IS Manager, leadership of small/medium projects through whole lifecycle.
- Create and maintain agreed project documentation including policies and procedures, status reports, system design, process flows and project presentations.
- Assisting and supporting QAT and UAT.
- Undertakes feasibility of potential applications, specifying the most appropriate solutions to be used and likely impact of various options on the business.
Qualification Required
The candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies
- Business analysis / requirements definition.
- Possess a good understanding of a recognized Project Management Methodology.
- Bachelors’ degree or similar qualification with IT and business management as core subjects.
- A minimum of 1 years’ practical experience gained working within a commercial organization in a business analysis or similar role.
- Nexxus Mobile Intelligence CRM.
- Veeva CRM.
- Salesforce.com.
- Power BI or other BI tool.
- SQL.
