POSITION PURPOSE:
The purpose of this job is to be responsible for and assist with business systems and processes for the commercial side of the business. Lead, train and support efforts for new and current systems and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & PERCENT OF TIME:
System Support (50%)
- Support the effort for the maintenance and enhancement of current business systems on the commercial side
- Support the effort for the installation and set-up of new business systems on the commercial side
- Work closely with Information Technologies on any projects that that affect or work in conjunction with the commercial side of the business. Including but not limited to testing, training and implementation
- Perform as the business side Power User for commercial systems
Operations Services (35%)
- Work with various business groups on their system and/or process improvements
- Train and support where necessary
- Analyze information for the purposes of process efficiencies and implement changes for improvement
Other frequent duties (15%)
- Attend conferences on existing and new product software that would benefit the commercial side of the business
- Travel to REG assets for system implementation and/or training
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree – IT, Accounting or related business degree preferred
Experience maybe substituted for education
Preferred Experience: 2 – 4 years
Skills Required:
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive math and accounting skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Special skills, knowledge, or certifications preferred:
- JD Edwards
- Sales Force
- OTM
- Reports Now
- DTN based products
- Image Now
- Axxis
- Commodity management software experience
