Summary
The Senior Analyst will support data analysis needed to improve targeted global procurement processes. This individual is part of Procurement Strategy & Operations team driving global procurement transformation and will work on a wide range of business processes, practices, and technology. Project work will include identifying needs, conducting pre-project planning, collecting internal and external data, performing strategic analyses, formulating action items, and recommending implementation plans.
This position will serve Rheem Enterprise Division located in Roswell, Georgia.
What You’ll Do
This position will support the Global Procurement Organization in five key focus areas: Strategy, Process, People, Technology and Supplier Relationship Management. A successful candidate will gather data, analyze the information, and collaborate with business partners to recommend improvement plans. Responsibilities for this role may include, but not be limited to the following:
- Assist in the development and execution of the global procurement model
- Facilitate alignment and adoption of new processes globally
- Enable the adoption of technology and tools for data management, spend analysis, risk analysis, and general reporting
- Identify areas to enhance support to category management
- Define ways to improve the supplier relationship management experience for both internal and external parties
- Delivering continuous improvement initiatives per evolution roadmap
- Help drive source -to-pay process excellence
- Review and assess processes, procedures, tools, systems, and training materials to ensure relevance
- Collaborate with Procurement Managers to develop category strategy playbooks.
- Assist in creating a training program for procurement employees
- Establish and foster strong partnerships with key cross-functional partners to identify process gaps, also identifying and sharing best practices.
- Point person for system development efforts
- Develop performance metrics, surveys, and scorecards that align with organizational priorities; Facilitate Cost/Quality/Service review.
Job Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- BS/BA Degree in Business, Procurement/Supply Chain or similar.
- 7+ years’ experience in Procurement process and system transformation; preferably in Fortune 500 manufacturing company.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and communication skills
- Solid foundation is generating insights from data and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform work accurately and independently.
- Ability to problem solve and propose process improvements in a clear, simple
- Advanced analytical and MS Office skills, Excel Macro, VBA, Dashboards, ERP data systems, Oracle Bi, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
