We’re looking for a Business Analyst in the Greater Los Angelas area that can do hybrid work from home and in the Beverly Hills office.
The Opportunity:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing key performance metrics for clients in the construction equipment rental industry.
Overview:
- The role requires strategic thinking and experience with large data sets.
- Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills to interface effectively with senior management, clients, and software engineers
- The ideal candidate will have advanced abilities in Excel and an understanding of normalized relational databases. Experience with SQL, R, Python, and/or VBA is desirable.
- Must be able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic business environment.
In this role you’ll:
- Manage client relationships, answer questions related to analytical outputs, and produce custom deliverables to meet client needs.
- Formulate and construct analytical models to provide clients with industry benchmarks and metrics.
- Develop, analyze, and modify processes, data structures, and models.
- Identify research needs and perform appropriate qualitative and quantitative research.
- Manage / analyze large data sets and synthesize findings into concise presentations for clients and senior management.
- Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.
Here’s what you bring:
- 2+ years’ experience working in Analytics and from a relevant industry (investment banking, consulting, accounting, etc.)
- Experience performing and reviewing financial or market analyses in a technical environment.
- Expert in MS Excel (Macros, etc)
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, and VBA is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in business, finance, math, or science required.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, modeling and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage / process large amounts of information and formulate recommendations for senior management.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, superior verbal & written communication skills, and an attention to detail.
