The Position
2023 Summer Internship – Data Science Imaging: Personalized Healthcare
Department Summary
At Department of Personalized Healthcare at Genentech, Inc., we center on the unique healthcare needs of each patient, our approach is a continuous cycle of insight generation, driven by meaningful data, technologies and Advanced Analytics, where real-world data generated in clinical practice inform R&D, and data from traditional studies inform clinical practice and improve the healthcare experience for all patients throughout the care continuum.
This internship position is located in South San Francisco, CA On-Site.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing a Bayesian Nonparametric approach for cell type identification using spatially resolved omics data
- Compare developed methods versus existing solutions
Program Highlights
- Intensive 12-weeks, full time (40 hours per week) paid internship
- Program start dates are in May and June 2023
