Research Analyst- Intern
We are looking for a Research Analyst- Intern with an interest in B2B email marketing and lead generation for technology and consulting companies across industry verticals. As a Research Analyst- intern, you will take on various responsibilities such as email prospecting; maintaining prospect databases; write well researched and specific emails for a CxO audience that entice readers to respond positively; running email campaigns and generating summarized reports and or metrics to measure effectiveness.
The firm believes in providing appropriate opportunities for building meaningful experience within the Investment Banking industry, getting exposure to the ecosystem and key external participants in the Investment Banking ecosystem, and building valuable industry connections and professional networks over the longer term.
Job Description
- Researching Technology companies across different domains including IT Services, AI, Cloud, IoT, etc. based on certain investment parameters such as Revenue, No of employees, industry and other key investment parameters
- Building and maintaining key information repository and contact databases with high accuracy
- Assisting senior Transaction team with support required on a daily basis with respect to building information lists above in a timely and accurate manner (for eg: you may quickly gather research and information on Top 30-50 AI companies in the US on one day and next work on different industry segment based on business priorities, etc.)
- Co-ordinating and scheduling discovery calls with qualified companies, investors, etc. and manage emails/follow ups proactively
- Maintaining call volume and research metrics per day with the intent to qualify leads and support the process with team
- Conduct secondary research based on the specific technology sector and conduct market analysis
Key Requirements:
- A curious individual whose is a passionate researcher of tech companies
- Possess interest to identify and develop opportunities through insightful secondary research and can browse extensively
- Proficiency with online databases and tools like Apollo, Tracxn, Sales Navigator, PitchBooks, etc. is a great plus
- Experience in handling email automation tools and social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
- Must have strong inner drive and self-discipline, proficiency in MS Excel,
- Experience within B2B SaaS, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation segment is a plus
- Ability to support and prioritize work as assigned by senior team members
- Fluency in written and spoken English as well as strong communication and tele-calling skills
