Job Location: Pune
– Develop APIs to support integration with third parties in order to develop home IoT ecosystems. This includes voice integration with Amazon and Google, Laundry Value Creation integration with Amazon, Apple and Google requirements, and other integration activities with third parties.
– Translate, high level technical stories into operational tasks for estimation and development as part of Agile Sprint
– Develop Technical specification for the services and modules that you develop- Using the experience of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile methodology and understanding the project timeline, take required technical decisions to keep the project on track
– Develop unit test cases for the services and modules that you develop
– Work with the project team to identify intermittent defects and debug identified ones
– Involving in design discussions and providing suggestion
– Perform peer-to-peer code reviews and guide the team on improvements
– Owning the project, solve the technical issues of the development and testing team
– Follow best practices of cloud offerings
– Attend all scrum ceremonies
– Assist with Root cause analysis on missed or leaked defects
– Work on an integrated development team with other groups
– Support platform requirements
– Bachelor’s degree
– 5+ years of work experience in Information Systems or Engineering
– 3+ years of work experience in developing / executing large scale distributed systems with a focus on building Internet of Things (IoT) applications
– Knowledge of various programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript
– Knowledge of various technologies such as Microservices, web services, RESTful APIs, Message Broker Interface etc.
– Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
– Experience in one or many areas of machine interaction model, Rule Engines, Big Data, etc.
– Good working experience on Spring MVC and Spring Boot frameworks and message queues
– Work experience using various databases – Relational and NOSQL
– Preferable knowledge on infrastructure components (e.g., Cloud Management, Server/Storage configurations)
– Experience with industry-scale IoT solutions on at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
– Experience with DevOps tools used for Code Integration / Code Deployment
– Excellent analytical, debugging and problem solving ability
– Must be detail-oriented & work under deadline pressure, have the ability to deliver on time
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to work as a team player and lead a team to build innovative IP solutions that showcase thought-leadership and creativity
– Passionate about learning new technologies and creating innovative solutions
– Understanding of Change Management Process
– Bachelor’s degree
