Requirement/Description:
Duties and responsibilities
• Project Delivery o Own all aspects of development for the project – coding, code reviews, unit tests and code quality o Coach/mentor the development engineers and working effectively with the testing team
• Technology o Demonstrate technical excellence and quality focus while working on sprint user stories by minimizing or eliminating bugs per user story delivered o Work closely with Delivery Lead and Technical Specialist to resolve any technical impediments as soon as they arise o Ensure the coding standards are followed and tech debt are eliminated in every sprint o Drive the technical competency of the development area including tools, methods, frameworks, etc.
• Quality o Demonstrate an uncompromising Quality First focus and mentor development engineers on the Quality First mindset o Own deliverable quality from a development perspective for each sprint and release o Responsible for production quality deliverables o Drive quality criteria across the development life-cycle starting from requirements to sprint demos
• Innovation 2(2) o Demonstrate commitment to innovation by actively learning and implementing new technical tools / methods / approaches and showcasing them to the team and other stakeholders
• Continuous improvement o Constantly seek to improve the current process o Own and drive automation initiatives for efficiency improvements Profile
• Bachelor/master’s degree with information technology background or equivalent
• At-least 5 years of experience in Information Technology industry working with Microsoft platform-based solutioning • Develop high-quality database solutions, Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio
• Strong experience in Azure is with hands-on experience in these skills: Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure storage accounts.
• Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large data sets with SQL in MS SQL.
• Experience in handling medium to large data migration projects.
• Having good experience in creating program views, functions, and stored procedures.
• Have a good knowledge on Data Warehouse, Data Modeling and Data Integration • Experience with close co-operation and daily contact with international colleagues
• Great team player who can explain concepts and functional requirements and help team members to overcome obstacles in development • Experience working with Agile (Scrum) project team development methodologies
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrate proactive, positive, and collaborative mindset
• Ability to give and take direction, constructive criticism, feedback, and work to specified deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good Soft-skills and assertiveness – specifically to build trustful, collaborative relationships
• Positive attitude, decisive but humble when needed, puts the team first
• Must have skills o Strong knowledge in SQL o Azure data factory – Designing and building of data pipelines o Azure storage accounts o Data Modeling and Data Transformations
• Secondary skills o Power BI Dashboard/Report, DAX, Data Modeling and Data Integration o Hands on experience with Power BI UI desig
