Job Description – Data Analytics Developer

The Data Analytics Developer performs data Extract, Transform and Load activities on various online/offline data sources, automation of scripts, and uses business intelligence tools to visualize information in an easy way to derive business insights and leadership direction.

Role And Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build and maintain reliable automation frameworks/scripts to extract data from online/offline sources, services and webservices
• Identify sources of relevant information that could correlate to forecasting key metrics and performance criteria
• Work with internal customers to ensure that requirements are gathered and resulting output is continually improving to meet their needs and drive value
• Work with, and support, other developers in testing and maintaining script and visualization libraries

Preferred Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field
• 2-3 years coding/scripting experience in one of the following: python, NodeJS, Angular
• 2-3 years of relational database experience including SQL and data modeling
• Experience of using AI/ML on existing data to surface potential rules preferable
• Experience in data visualization using a BI tool or similar (preferably Qlik)
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex ideas in a simple way
• Ability to see the whole picture and creatively see which parts could connect to provide a simple view of a complex problem
