Join SADA India as a Google Workspace Engineer!


Your Mission

As a Google Workspace Engineer at SADA India, you will be responsible for working across multiple product teams to implement product solutions for customers.

This includes analyzing requirements and gathering deliverables to successfully complete the implementation, collecting appropriate data, and coordinating with other departments.

The Google Workspace Engineer serves as a subject matter expert for implementation best practices on the product or service they are supporting. The Implementation Consultant is instrumental in effectively communicating challenges to the appropriate departments to ensure positive client experiences.

You will be an established contributor within SADA and will develop a reputation with customers as well as internal teams for the quality of your work. You will demonstrate repeated delivery of successful migrations and ensure overall good quality of projects. You work well with your internal project teams and communicate with your team members the status of project tasks


Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously
  • Assist client in determining best practices for setup and configuration to achieve the desired result
  • Analyze legacy information and practices and configure appropriately in a new environment
  • Conduct reviews with customers prior to release to confirm acceptance of data and configuration
  • Accurately forecast activation dates and manage implementation appropriately to meet release dates
  • Provide superior customer service to all customers
  • Perform system setup and configuration while ensuring accuracy of complex data and multi-system integrations
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of each product for which they are responsible
  • Interpret and understand client business requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of all communication received for each client
  • Provide project management to ensure product activations are moving as quickly as possible
  • Update activity records timely and accurately to ensure accurate reporting and client billing
  • Manage defect or problem resolution to drive implementations to completion
  • Notify management of any complications, missing data, or system defects that might delay the implementation
  • Identify and assist development with resolution and enhancements to workflow, scripts, or system defects
  • Perform testing on new workflow, scripts, or solutions prior to implementation
  • Provide project coordination as required for more complicated account setups to ensure successful completion
  • Resolve complaints and answer questions from customers
  • Collaborate regularly with other departments to improve processes or procedures
  • Ensure appropriate hand-offs and communication with Engagement Managers, Consultants, and Account Management
  • Maintain knowledge of departmental processes and procedures

#BeDataDriven: You ensure a successful implementation of customer LumApps portals by reviewing the data available. You work with the project manager to formulate achievable timelines and set proper expectations with the customer based on this data.

As you continue to execute successfully, we will build a customized development plan together that leads you through the solutions architecture or management growth tracks.


Expectations

Customer Facing – You will interact with customers on a regular basis, sometimes daily, other times weekly/bi-weekly. Common touch points occur when qualifying potential opportunities, at project kickoff, throughout the engagement as progress is communicated, and at project close. You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives.

Training – Ongoing with first week orientation followed by a 90 day onboarding schedule. Details of the timeline can be shared. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all onboarding will be temporarily conducted remotely.


Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

  • Google Professional Collaboration Engineer Certified or able to complete within the first 45 days of employment
  • Google Sales Certifications and Okta Sales Certifications (public links unavailable) will be expected to be completed within the first 90 days of employment

Required Qualifications:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills
  • Experience working with engineering and sales teams
  • Excellent analytical abilities to grasp key points from complicated details
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with internal and external executive level customers
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Be a results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience producing technical assets or writing technical documentation, including, but not limited to, architecture designs and documentation
  • Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple streams
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace

Useful Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CMS tools (SharePoint, Jive, Drupal, WordPress)
  • Familiarity with AODocs
  • Ability to develop scripts in Python, Javascript, or Google Appscript
  • Familiarity with creating wireframes and working with HTML
  • Understanding of best practices, design patterns and reference architectures with an uncanny ability to recommend these as needed.
