JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is seeking candidates for the Cloud One Common Computing Environment (CCE) program under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI). Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data that will serve the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and U.S. Army (USA). Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of commercial cloud and Managed Service Providers (MSP) residing in Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Cloud One facilitates the USAF and USA’s efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of the USAF and USA’s IT operations. The candidate for this position may work anywhere in the United States. There is no requirement to work at a SAIC or customer site to support Cloud One.
Position duties will include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and maintain operations documentation, meeting minutes, technical run books, user guides and manuals utilizing information from existing system manuals, network and end-to-end drawings, consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.
- Assist in the creation of training materials such as training reference guides, presentations and tests scripts as required.
- Creating and adhering to documentation standards and guidelines.
- Maintain internal documentation library, Scrum and Kanban boards efficiently. Scrum experience preferred.
- Track and produce key metrics (e.g., burn-down, burnup, cumulative flow, velocity, etc.) to monitor progress within Scrum.
- Facilitate Daily Stand-up, Planning, Retrospective, Grooming & Review/Demo.
- Support the development of Epics, Features and Users Stories with acceptance criteria.
- Develop and document Use Cases or User Stories and User Interface Storyboarding using Agile development methodologies.
- Support development of product roadmaps and strengthening the presence of the team as an Agile center of excellence.
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must be able to acquire a Secret security clearance
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
- Proficient in Open-Source word processing tools such as Office Suite
- Utilizing AWS or other cloud technologies
- Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative ideas
- Scrum Certifications: Lean Agile Institute Certified Scrum Master (LAI-SM), SAFe Scrum Master, and/or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification preferred but not required
- Experience on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)
- Well versed in a variety of Agile approaches (Lean, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of development environments, platforms, and technologies including data engineering and cloud technology
- Experience with software DevSecOps/DevOps pipeline processes and tools preferred but not required
Target salary range: $75,001 – $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
