Job Description

Salesforce is looking for a talented and dynamic Principal Business Analyst to join the Global Red Account Management team. You will have a diverse set of responsibilities primarily focused on, leading and coordinating the execution of quarterly executive deliverables, supporting the long and short-term planning, delivery, and expansion of our analytics strategy, and supporting key program initiatives related to program innovation. You will support all long-term and short-term planning, analysis and scenario modeling, and assist in establishing ease of use solutions.

In addition, this individual will lead the implementation of our teams Tableau strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership on the application and usage of data science frameworks to accomplish business objectives and deliver business impact

  • Understand the underlying data architecture supporting Red Accounts

  • Perform deep analysis and produce meaningful insights and recommendations to mitigate risk and decrease attrition

  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the business

  • Develop advanced data visualizations using best practices to effectively solve business problems

  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for Escalation Managers to engage with their key stakeholders to drive risk awareness and mitigation discussions

  • Curating quantitative and qualitative data and insights from various stakeholder groups and creating narratives to frame risks and highlight mitigation opportunities

  • Develop and maintain standardized operational reports and dashboards to support our program and provide data-driven insights to our key stakeholders

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve or define processes that promote data integrity and reporting functionality

  • Collaborate cross‐functionally to ensure consistent reporting standards and processes

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive business decisions in Tableau and Tableau CRM (formally called Einstein Analytics)

  • Simplify and automate reporting, metrics, and dashboards

  • Assess risks and impacts of business requirements and process changes across platforms and make change management recommendations

  • Strong project management and organization skills to keep projects on track and moving toward the end business goal

  • Support ad-hoc dashboard and data requests to provide insights to various teams

  • Document processes, best practices, and requirements to support our deliverables and initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Analytics

  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills to uncover and solve business problems and develop recommendations

  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities

  • Prior experience in Tableau Software required. Strong knowledge of relational database technologies, Excel, and ability to become an expert in Tableau Software’s full product suite. SQL is a plus

  • Excellent verbal, written, & presentation skills with the ability to design and develop innovative and compelling content

  • Expertise using Google Slides to develop presentations that effectively translate ideas and messaging into concise and compelling narratives

  • Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive

  • Excellent organizational skills and must be able to work independently with limited guidance

  • Demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize a high-volume workload while handling details accurately, in a timely manner, and under pressure. Demonstrated strong time management skills, with the ability to multi‐task, handle frequent interruptions, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Courageous and confident; willing to challenge the status quo, and ensure that we execute and evolve our data and analytics models

  • Team player with the ability to work independently and with others

  • Tableau Certification a plus (Tableau Desktop: Certified Professional, Certified Associate, Specialist)
