Salesforce is looking for data scientists with hands on experience transforming unique data to solve business problem. You will have access to high-value business activity data, including unstructured and semi-structured records around the sales process. You will participate in the end-to-end business decisions using machine learning, from initial data exploration, proof of concept to deploy repeatable solutions to guide our daily business decisions. You will be asked to experiment with state-of-the-art technologies and conduct research work to create business impact during the sales process.
You will be working with business teams, other data scientists and engineers to build intelligent services for both internal and across teamsWe are a team with diverse technical backgrounds who share a passion for problem-solving, new technologies, and learning. A typical day for you might include some of the following:
- Brainstorm analytics ideas with business team and other data scientists that enable our daily business decision
- Work with team member to build out other parts of the infrastructure, effectively communicating your needs and understanding theirs.
- Build intelligence into our business to make them run smarter
What we care about:
- You have 1+ years working experience with at least one analytics programming languages such as Python or R
- Ability to write clean and functional code and work with dataframes like pandas, numpy in Python or data.table in R
- You have working experience applying data analysis, ML or statistical models to solve real world business problem and show impacts
- Familiar with database management language such as SQL or Hive for data manipulation
- Preference for 3+ years of industry experience
- You have to love data – this is what we do. We are looking for people who are excited about different and unique data sets, and all the ways that they could be used in order to improve our daily business

- Proven knowledge with applied statistics and probability/ predictability data outputs
- Keep up to date with cutting-edge machine learning/ big data methods and techniques

- Can thrive in team environments Learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Completed a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree related to Computer Science, Statistics or related major studying AI (artificial intelligence), ML (machine learning), NLP (natural language processing), Data Science or Mathematics
