Job Location: Remote
- We are looking for an Engineer that specializes in Python and has strong affinity with DevOps and automation solutions.
- You will become part of our DevOps team and will be responsible for automating our provisioning and deployment infrastructure and work closely with our senior cloud engineers to find coded solutions for all our DevOps tasks.
What You ll Be Doing [Responsibilities]:
- Build end-to-end deployment scripts so our entire cloud infrastructure will be provisioned AND deployed without any human interaction
- Maintain existing scripts and processes and improve them
- Think through and architect generic solutions for similar deployments so these can be reused over time
- Build towards a UI-driven infrastructure through which the engineering team can select any AWS component to be created and added to their projects
- Automate any other DevOps related task like or example creating or deleting users in slack, jira or github
- Work with our Head of DevOps to build out the DevOps organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Technology or a Master s degree in Computer Applications
- 4+ years of experience with Python development
- Experience with AWS infrastructure
- Experience with YAML
- A strong interest in DevOps, deployment, provisioning and other tasks around code deployment automation
- Ansible experience is a plus but not required
- Experienced in working with continuous delivery tool sets and has insight into rapid deployment, automation, monitoring and troubleshooting in a cloud hosted environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent analytical problem solving skills
