Position Overview:
Engineering of solid Integration Solutions is critical to the success of the Data Organization are critical to support Sanofi’s digital ambitions. As our organizational and integration strategy evolves, it is important for us to align our integration solutions to a more modern integration architecture.
The key responsibility for this role is to implement and drive solutions across the Digital Data Organization in close collaboration the Data Architecture teams as well as the program and product leaders and relevant business stakeholders across the organization.
As the Integration Solution Engineer for Data Engineering, we will rely on your technologically innovative understanding of integration capabilities along with your never-ending drive to adopt a strategy which accelerates our digital transformation. This individual will report directly to the Product Owner of Data Engineering within the Architecture Team within Digital Data.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Lead, coordinate and drive architectural and operational discussions for Data Engineering Topics.

Identifies opportunities and improvements to the organization’s Data Engineering strategy and work to improve the execution velocity, its efficiency and quality of service.

Design appropriate integration solutions for projects and programs, interacting with Digital Tech partners, GBU’s, Solution Architects, and Data Architects for the overall solution design approach

Work collaboratively across all digital towers to support an enterprise-wide adoption and adherence to the Integration Strategy.

Manage the product and service lifecycle of all capabilities and oversee the technology obsolescence.

Provide effective guidance to the team supervising, managing and motivating team members daily.

Ensure the delivery of our integration capabilities with our managed service providers and manage Service Level and Operational Level Agreements.
The Integration Solution Engineer will perform their duties within the new operating model of the Data Engineering Team within Digital Data organization.
Job Qualifications:

Engineer / IT degree / advanced degree preferred
-
Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT engineering, with specialization in relevant technologies (Integration, File Transfer, messaging and API platforms)

10+ years’ experience with Integration Technologies and Services such as Informatica PowerCenter , Informatica Cloud(IICS), TIBCO suite of products, Axway, Layer 7, Airflow, Informatica Enterprise MFT.

Strong Cloud Experience across AWS, GCP, Azure, Tencent cloud providers

Strong hands on integration experience with applications SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake and SaaS applications.

Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, Ansible Tower.

Strong Messaging Services experience with areas like RabbitMQ, ApacheMQ, Kafka.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

General understanding of the specifics of business processes in the pharmaceutical industry

Experience of regulated projects and services (GxP, SOX, Transparency)

Ability to devise creative solutions and challenge the status quo

Ability to negotiate to reach compromises agreeable by different parties and at ease with ambiguity

Maintain highest levels of discipline in designing roadmaps while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude

Fluent in English
