Job purpose
- The lead business analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the BAs in his/her project/s. The role includes responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of work produced by the business analysts. The lead analyst must have sufficient knowledge of business analysis processes and Sapiens products to provide guidance, support, and business analysis expertise to the BAs. Also, identify new business needs for the program and provide solution with respect to Sapiens product suite
- Business-focused role working with the customer businesspeople and key project stakeholders to communicate and formulate the business vision and solution for the project while also ensuring the successful delivery. Work closely with project solution architect team
Duties and responsibilities
- Project Responsibilities
- Understand all customer requirements end to end
- Accountable for all end-to-end solutions to ensure requirements are met
- Accountable for development and testing support
- Work with project management to build the workshop and delivery plan
- Responsible to manage the BA workplan and ensure that all deliverables are on time and within budget
- Responsible (as the functional focal point) for all project demands which require coordination with product management
- Lead Responsibility
- Responsible for continuous improvements of project BA
- Enhance knowledge and skill of Bas in team
- Management Responsibilities
- Direct line administration (task management, vacation etc.)
- Identify future talent and future leadership within the project
- Train and mentor the project BAs
- Serve as the main focal point for all IDIT / Sapiens RI knowledge needs from the project and engage the relevant knowledge source for answers when needed
- Assist in guiding the BAs around the Sapiens organization and processes
- Provide input to product team on product enhancement based on the experience
- Involve in Pre-sales activity wherever necessary to provide expert advice and conduct client demo on need basis
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge in the Sapiens RI and processes
- Extensive insurance / Re-insurance business knowledge
- Managerial and leadership skills
- Training and presentation skills
- Prior experience of managing a small team
- Experience with information systems (such as ERP) at a super user level
- Excellent communications skills in English (mother tongue level)
- Experience with overseas customers and willingness to travel extensively.
- Total 12+ Yrs experience overall. (Exp range)
- 4 -5 Yrs Exp in Reinsurance is mandatory.
- Team management experience must.
- Should be able lead multiple projects.
- Should be able lead – junior BA’s working under him.
- Able to write & design documents and provide direction to Jr. and visualize solutions.
- Details in Design from Product perspective.
Experience- Around 12+ years’ experience and Re-Insurance industry domain experience is must.
