Context of The Position
- “Data & Performance” mission is to foster Group strategy execution leveraging data as an enabler for performance management.
- The “Data” streams focus on building and enhancing data foundations, work to connect data, break data silos to share one single & trusted version of data across the Group. Our ambition is to raise the overall Data Maturity of Schneider Electric. Creation of “Reusable Data Objects” is at the heart of this strategy.
- The “Performance” streams aim at leveraging this data environment to define, enhance or revisit the performance models and publish related power metrics.

Within that scope Digital Performance is quite ahead and specific as the business model is quite new and the performance framework had to be fully designed. It relies today on 2 main pillars
- The digital flywheel already used across the company for monitoring digital strategy execution and shared with our external stakeholders as a key strategic enabler.
- The GREAT performance model being deployed step by step
Digital Performance mission is to define and implement the operational and financial performance model for the new digital businesses mainly driven by subscription. It implies to define and implement end to end processes to capture & store the related data and to develop KPIs and dashboards to give business & financial insights to the various stakeholders across the organization.
Position Summary
- Digital Flywheel relies on Ecostruxure and Field Services. Ecostruxure ecosystems builds on Schneider Electric’s long-standing product and system leadership to provide the industry’s most comprehensive portfolio of interoperable and cloud-connected and/or on-premise technologies organized around three layers of technology innovation: connected products, edge control and digital services.
- The Digital Flywheel reporting is industrialized based on granular approach offer by offer, extracting data from Front offices’ ERPs. It’s before all a tool to drive digital strategy execution per Ecostruxure domain and beyond financial reporting the objective is to allow each business leader to leverage operational insights to boost his business.
- The position is to run this reporting process on a monthly base in order to disclose Digital Flywheel performance within Group financial deadlines and share this performance across Business Units & offers, as well as Operations & Countries in SE Intel, the Group one stop shop for data as well as enhance it over time for both content and process.
- It embeds several metrics and KPIs with different scopes and levels of details to give business & financial insights on each & every offer, revenue types and business models with a focus on Ecostruxure L3 but not only.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drives the monthly & quarterly Digital Flywheel reporting process: data collection & consolidation within expected deadlines both for internal & external views
- Prepares annual strategic & business plan (may be quarterly forecasts at some point in time) in collaboration with key stakeholders including different growth scenario.
- There are many scopes and processes to be covered
- Internal & external view
- Industrialized reporting on Net Orders & Invoiced Sales RDO, Net Net Sales RDO (Q4 2022), Gross margin RDO (2023)
- Specific shuttle webform for non-integrated scopes
- Opportunities & pipe from BFO
- Check scope and integrate new acquired businesses or newly launched offers
- Work closely with Group Reporting & Consolidation team on the accounting treatment of acquisitions & divestments to keep full alignment on total Group figures.
- Organize data collection if manual, formats of flat files, deadlines, communication to stakeholders
- Check data consistency
- Prepare all files for output disclosure: excel, PowerPoint, tableau dashboards in SE intel…including synthesis for ExCom, Business Pulse & Board
- Foster industrialization & automation for the full scope
- Foster alignment on the different KPIs in terms of source, content, inclusion in SE intel at global level
- Foster alignment of users on how to look & drive Digital Flywheel performance, including feedback, training…both finance & business communities
- Make proposals to improve user experience, collect feedback from users on further needs and work to implement
- Manage community of users (data input / data output) on internal social media

Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering or Finance or related field
- Advanced English level
- Financial Planning & Analysis in SE (knowledge of actual, prior, rolling forecast & CCO processes)
- Advanced knowledge in Excel
