Job Location: India
§ The candidate should have 8-12 years of experience ( including Global operations)
§ Candidate with good knowledge of vendor master data and SAP is Mandatory (Knowledge of SAP MDG is added advantage)
§ Team Management (25+ FTE), and responsible for HR processes (Should be leading a team of 20+ in his current role)
§ Check and validate the Bank modification request in tool (by following the control and compliance guidelines)
§ Is responsible & accountable for data quality (Including bank data) for Finance master data across the Group
§ Team Manager is the guarantor of frequent data quality control and escalation of any quality, compliance and control issues discovered (based on a root cause analysis) to Group Data Owner
§ Should be able to coordinate with stake holders across various locations globally
§ To be the first point of contact for any escalation for Finance Master data within the wider =S= business); manage and close the escalations
§ Secure Finance master data availability and quality across the Finance Master data Process
§ Ensure process KPI deliverable, and MIS reporting
§ Understanding of shared service model (4+ years of experience in Shared service or outsourcing industries)
§ Support Group Data Owner in standardization projects and define and implementation of process control rules
§ Liaison with the key stake holders ( Auditors, Internal customers, External customers etc ….)
§ Advance level of understanding of other finance process (AP, AR, CBT) and impact of master data attributes on other linked processes
§ Plays an important role in new deployments of master data activities to GFS being a subject matter expert during lift & shift as well as shift and lift projects
§ Liaises with his Purchasing counterpart to guarantee the consistency of the standards and policies at Vendor master data level
§ Supports the Data Owner for the implementation of data standards and policies
§ Is accountable for data quality of the data domain he owns and for the enforcement of the standards and policies
§ Deliver simplification and generate efficiency in overall process
§ Conducts change management actions to trigger behavioral changes across his scope of responsibility and achieve continuous improvement of master data quality
§ Is responsible for the fit of master data with the business / legal requirements (defines the data model and, when required, proposes evolutions) for the data domain he owns
§ Liaises with his Purchasing counterpart to inform him about any changes/evolutions to MDM process
§ Is responsible for expressing the functional requirements and operational constraints for the Vendor MDM tool for the attributes he owns
§ Tests or delegates testing and validates the functional content of the MDM tool (vs. functional requirements)
§ Liaises with the Group MDM Manager and the Global Data Architect to validate the consistency of the master data architecture of his domain as part of an overall MDM architecture
§ Liaises with the Group Solution Owner for the integration of the Finance MDM tool with the ERPs of the Federation
§ Liaises with the Group MDM Manager and the Group Solution Owner for the implementation and / or evolution of the MDM tool
§ Is a permanent member of the Finance Data Governance Office, such as representation of Data Owners network

§ Customer service orientation
§ Education – Bachelors/ Master Degree in Finance or equivalent
