Job Location: Oaks, PA
As an integral member of the Salesforce Data delivery team, the Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting Data Analyst will be heavily involved in the design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical reports and dashboards across the enterprise. You will work with marketers, data analysts, data engineers, and all levels of business unit end users to document reporting requirements and build reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
Position Description:
What you’ll do:
Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements.
Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
Work with business leaders, marketers, and data analysts to establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions and day-to-day operations.
Structure data sets pulled from multiple sources to enrich master data and mine value-added information.
Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data.
Participate with other specialists to convert various legacy reports to Salesforce, Tableau CRM, and Tableau solutions.
Ensure proper configuration management, version management, and change control are implemented.
Provide training and assistance to end users.
Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 5 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards.
BA/BS degree in related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience.
Working with users in a requirements analysis role.
Experience with data warehouse implementations.
Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional).
Proficiency with the Salesforce, Tableau CRM and Tableau reporting tool is desired but not mandatory.
Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures
Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.
