Position Summary: The Senior BI Developer is responsible for supporting the business areas and clients by developing business intelligence solutions leveraging the Microsoft technology platform (SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS and Excel BI tools)

- Develop complex SQL stored procedures/views as required
- Create variety of complex reports using SQL Server Reporting Services, including but not limited to drill down, drill through, tabular, matrix, dashboard, multi parameter reports, etc.
- Analyze data to provide recommendations to Vice President of group on issues and improvements
- Provide advice and guidance on database good practices
- Provide input on systems architecture as required
- Identify areas and processes where performance can be improved
- Make and justify recommendations for improvement
- Continuously tune and optimize SQL queries and ensures that code and other deliverables adhere to company standards
Education / Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or higher in business related field from an accredited four-year college or university with Major field of study in Computer Software Programs is preferred. Four to ten years’ related experience and/or training required. Experience in design, development and maintenance of database/server is preferred.
Computer Skills
Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS and Fiserv preferred.
