Job Location: Georgia
Semperit America’s is seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to join our management team in this exciting growth stage. This role will be responsible for leading and managing accounting services, policies/programs, and driving organizational excellence. The Controller will act as the first point of contact with regards to SAP BYD / ERP Profiles, and will support the US Team in further integrating SAP BYD. Must have solid analytical, communication and management skills in addition to knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Key Responsibilities:
Controlling
- Management reporting and performance management.
- Provide unit/segment specific detailed reporting (in addition to group reporting).
- Support US Management Team in monitoring financial health of region/segment/business unit.
- Detail given group standards for segment needs and requirements (i.e., detailing segment specific product cost calculation and pricing).
Reporting & Forecasting
- Support US Finance Team in preparing the monthly reporting package including aging reports and liquidity planning.
- Support Finance Manager and US Management with ad-hoc reporting requirements.
- Support US Management Team in providing reliable financial data in a timely manner.
- Supporting the US Management by reporting, analyzing and challenging business developments (of sales, operations, etc.).
- Optimize financial performance by supporting US Management to steer results of business units (Sales, EBITDA, working capital, cash-flow, etc.).
General & Organization:
- Act as SAP BYD business partner.
- Support SAP BYD users daily by helping to resolve system issues.
- Encourage the use of SAP BYD as the single source of truth and demonstrate efficient ways to use SAP BYD.
- Set up eg reports and queries in SAP BYD & ERP-Profiles for users.
- Train defined key users in SAP BYD.
Business Warehouse (BW)
- Act as first contact point with regards to BW.
- Further integrate SAP BYD data in BW.
Production controlling
- Focus on production controlling, i.e., standard costing, deviation, cost of quality in SAP BYD and ERP-Profiles.
Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare segment specific planning reports and presentations.
- Review, analyze, challenge and comment planning and forecasting results.
CAPEX controlling
- Calculate business cases, prepare presentation, regularly check and evaluate business cases when implemented.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance and/or technical degree plus additional post graduate business/management education (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years work experience in professional service positions (management consulting, controlling)
- Highly skilled in controlling and advanced knowledge in finance management
- Excellent analytical ability with demonstrated Excel skills
- Data warehouse experience, and good understanding of process management
- SAP BYD experience is preferred. Must have a strong desire to understand and improve ERP Systems.
- Must have a solution-oriented mindset, conceptual work style, and achievement-oriented personality, to ensure a cohesive and collaborative finance team
- Must be willing to work and travel in an international environment
