This is an exciting opportunity for a Tableau expert to help shape a corporate Business Intelligence & Analytics function that will simplify and automate information delivery, providing sophisticated insights and analysis to support decision making. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will focus on high-impact, high-visibility projects that contribute to improving the analytics strategy for SRG’s corporate and community leaders. Join our team of over 2,500 employees, located across 22 communities and offices, in seven states.
In this role you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining analytic reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll help the organization connect with Data and recognize where we stand relative to goals set by Finance, Sales and Marketing, Clinical, Food and Beverage, and other departments. You’ll work as part of the SRG IT Team, reporting to the Senior Director of Applications, and you’ll partner with Business Unit Leaders across the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and Maintain Tableau Business Intelligence Dashboards utilizing internal and external resources
- Administer Daily, Monthly, and Annual reports as defined by Corporate Leadership
- Proactively and strategically identify reporting errors, gaps, and opportunities both independently and by partnering with Corporate Leadership
- Become the Subject Matter Expert on SRG Reporting KPIs/Definitions/Logic
- Collaborate on the Development of Custom Yardi SQL reports
- Quickly Respond to and accommodate ad hoc report/data/analysis requests
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Finance) or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence or Financial Analyst
- 3+ years of experience with Tableau
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in writing SQL queries
- Knowledge of Python or other relevant scripting languages
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams, including Corporate Leadership
- Strong analytical abilities and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with general direction and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
