Reporting to the Manager of Client Solutions, the Business System Analyst II works with internal and external stakeholders to document business requirements and workflows that enable successful program implementation and support client needs. This role also provides ongoing workflow and process analysis, making recommendations on the design, development and implementation of technology solutions in support of continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, this individual will provide regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis in support of ongoing client relationships.
What You Will Do::
- Documents internal and external business processes and customer journey maps; captures business requirements and translates to development teams
- Develop program flowcharts, (dataflows, worksflows, etc.), for stand-alone programs or systems
- Identifies risks and ambiguities in processes and communicates with key stakeholders; Assists in developing solutions in accordance with project timeline and specifications
- Collaborates with technical and clinical teams as needed to ensure accurate system configuration and associated documentation
- Develops regular short-term implementation goals, providing updates to team members and partners
- Captures notes from internal and external client meetings and communicates appropriately; develops material for stakeholder presentations
- Provides regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the reporting needs and trend analysis of key client facing business functions; works with internal data teams to develop, customize and run reports, queries and/or extracts
- Participates in workgroups, QA activities, user acceptance testing, and training/demos as needed
- Performs other duties as required
What You Will Bring::
- 4-6 years healthcare IT or operations/systems experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or healthcare-related field required, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with case management systems preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a fast-moving, collaborative team
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and create successful client partnerships
- Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools experience a plus
