Role: Power BI Developer
Base location: BKC, Mumbai, India
What you become a part of:
Successful candidate will lead the group-wide reporting automation across all functions within the group with a view offer excellent analytical, business intelligence support.
What to expect:
- Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Ensuring the data is replicated to ERP systems and is available in Power BI for Management Reporting.
- Understand business requirements to build data models, analysis services, reporting models, visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
- Developing, administering Power BI reports/dashboards for scheduling and publishing as per the business requirements.
- Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
- Implement row level security on data and understands application security layer models in Power BI.
- Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation.
- Design and develop Office 365 applications and solutions (Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, Business Central, SharePoint Online, MS Projects).
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc.
- Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience of translating data into visuals and reports.
- Proficient in creating DAX queries in Power BI desktop and experience running advanced-level calculations on data-sets.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on ERP connectors, SAP, Navision & LS Retail ETL process is Mandatory. Experience in Power Apps and Power Automation is an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Polybase, Visual Studio, etc.
- Proficient in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis; prior relevant experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent consulting and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Self-starter, self-motivated and ability to independently manage assigned tasks.
- Experience working cross-culturally with diverse colleagues.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as Power BI developer working closely with multiple stakeholders (business) in a matrix, multi-unit operations set-up.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or equivalent.
