Business Analyst – Merge, Acquisition and Divestment
Business Analysis provides world class services to application development and enhancement projects. IT Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and defining the business needs of their clients and stakeholders and helping to determine solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems. The role may be part of an IT project development environment or an individual contributor at the business interface.

Business Analyst will primarily support the Design Engineering Capability where you will have opportunities working in projects for Acquisition & Divestment. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting IT delivery program where you would be working with a team based out of different time zones US, UK and East.

The Role
- Leading stakeholder management activities. Creates opportunities to make the stakeholder feel valued and develop trust.
- Broad and extensive knowledge, often in own specialized field, to provide interpretive, advisory or facilitating services for the use of others to achieve results.
- Participates in team effort to create new best practice material based on identified gaps. Serves as an SME for specific tools, techniques, or business areas.
- Participates in industry IT BA related activities such as IIBA webcasts and/or chapter meetings and applies learnings within Shell including sharing of learnings
- Perform due diligence analysis against the applications / businesses
- Coordinate and deliver the IT components related to the applications in the workstream landscape
- Facilitate IT workshops with multiple stakeholders
- Propose designs / solutions which contribute to project delivery performance and co-ordinate input to devise project test strategy
- Coordinate test for the workstream– recording test results and communicating status updates to stakeholders
- Co-ordinate input to devise project cutover strategy
- Own workstream cutover plans
- Negotiation and approval of Proposal for Work quotations
- Impact analysis of the Licenses and contracts
- Facilitate / co-ordinate the cutover planning workshops for the workstream
Requirements
- Typical Years of Experience: 5-8+ years of IT experience2- 4+ Years IT Medium/Large size projects delivery Experience
