The Role
- Frequent exposure to / interaction with business and IT leadership. Collaborates with key stakeholders individually or as part of a group of Data Visualisation Experts. Coaching and developing other UX business analysts. Delivers on responsibilities for Sprint deliverables.
- May lead a Data Visualisation Team, usually covering more than one domain or services. Typical team size would be 5-10 direct reports with limited budget responsibility. Works independently with limited supervision.
- Exercises substantial personal responsibility and autonomy in resolving complex problems and assignments. Investigates, defines and resolves complex problems.
- Work activities and advice have a direct influence on a broad set of domains and services. Work scope is a combination of broad and deep technical knowledge of Agile and leadership, notably customer focus and influencing without formal authority, and coaching and developing own people. Uses UX design best practices to design solutions. Works sometimes within Agile projects, always with a CI mindset. Designs data visualizations and user interfaces. Runs ideation sessions with project stakeholders and users. Translating moderately complex ideas into visualizations even at a rough early stage. Designs static and interactive data visualizations, infographics and presentation material (along with user interfaces) for our clients and internal products. Rapidly creates concepts, prototyping and iterating on ideas. Applies Story Telling in Analytics. Designs integrated prototypes in an agile fashion and seeks continuous input/ guidance from Product Owner within the business prior to creating a Minimum Viable Product [MVP].
Other requirement includes:
1. Exp in Data Analysis and Business Intelligence with tools like Power BI in querying, Analysing, designing, development and reporting environment
2. Expert on SQL Queries, Views, Stored Procedures.
3. Worked on Power Apps, SharePoint, Azure Analytical Services
4. Exp in Analytical Tool like Microsoft Power BI (SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence, SAC etc.. will be added advantage)
5. Developing dashboards for measures with forecast, trend line and reference lines.
6. Creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc.
7. Power BI cloud, workspaces, gateways, premium capacity, publishing, scheduling, User Access Management.
8. Expert in understanding Data, Data Modeling and Data Warehousing.
9. Expertise in handling high volume of data for Power BI reports and performance tunings.
10. Having good Exposure on ADF and Azure Synapse will be a plus.
11. Having worked on creating CI/CD pipelines for deployment of Power BI reports, AAS Models, and other reporting objects will be a plus.
12. DAX programming & expressions like filters, Aggregate, Mathematical Functions etc.
13. Good interpersonal and communications skills
14. Can understand domain/functionality and take decisions
