SUMMARY OF POSITION
Interns assist Shurtape with tasks set out by various teams, such as research, data capturing and working closely with different team members to learn more about the company.The Business Systems Analyst Intern will work closely with Business Systems Analysts as they analyze, modify, and evaluate existing or proposed software, hardware, and business processes used to manage Shurtape Technologies, LLC and its subsidiaries. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: updating business process blueprints/guides, capturing meeting minutes, proof reading program specifications, debugging programs, unit testing, and end user training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other Duties As Assigned)
- Participate in all Intern activities as set forth by Human Resources and Information Services
- Update business process blueprints
- Update business process guides
- Proof read specification documents
- Provide input for the design and construction of test cases and business scenarios
- Design, debug, and test new software, software modifications, and business processes
- Capture meeting minutes
- Perform research at a supervisor’s request

Job Requirements
- Undergraduate student in a technology sector
- Must be eager to learn and work with various departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and require minimum supervision
- Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
