This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Text Analytics Intern, you will be responsible for:
- You will contribute to research projects to develop intelligent solutions for medical text analytics.
- You will conduct fast prototyping and feasibility studies for exploratory clinical research.
- You will support the productization of research prototypes.
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers
- You have strong research capability in machine learning and text analytics proved by publications in journals/conferences. Knowledge in computer vision and medical image analysis is a plus.
- You have research experience in text/image analytics using large scale, weakly supervised/unsupervised learning algorithms (e.g. deep learning) (preferred).
- You have research experience in medical text/image analysis of different modalities (medical reports, CT, MRI, PET, etc.) (preferred).
- You have strong programming ability. Proficiency in programming using Python (required) and C/C++ (preferred).
Required skills to have for the success of this role
- Preferred 3.0 GPA or better.
- Must be enrolled in a PhD or MS program studying Computer Science/Engineering, Electric Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar.
- Must be willing to work full time (up to 40 hours/week) during the summer, and part time (up to 20-25 hours/week) during the academic term.
Start Date: Summer 2023; 3-month duration minimum
