Job Detail:
Simpalm is looking to hire a Jr. Business Analyst for our direct State Client in Clifton Forge, VA. This is a long-term opportunity. The opportunity requires the candidate to be able to work in HYBRID Fashion at the Client’s Central Office located in Clifton Forge, VA.
It is a fully remote position, but Candidates must be willing to come to Clifton Forge, VA, once every 45-60 days for staff meetings.
Must Have
- 3+ Years of Experience in Requirement Gathering
- 3+ Years of Experience in Quality Assurance
- 3+ Years of Experience in Technical Writing
- 2+ Years of Experience in SQL and T-SQL
- 2+ Years of Experience in Business Analysis
- 1+ Years of Experience with Tricentis Tosca
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and document system, application and data requirements.
- The successful candidate will manage activities relating to the gathering of requirements and building automated testing scripts.
- Coordinate with quality assurance personnel to ensure necessary and sufficient test plans are implemented and assist in the execution of test plans within the change control processes.
- Take the lead in ensuring proper business and technical documentation is written in support of new or existing processes.
- Proven technical writing skills are required.
- Work in Tricentis Tosca automated testing software and with the development team.
- Responsibilities include documentation of existing infrastructure, system analysis, creation of release notes, assurance of compliance to applicable regulations and maintenance of the document repository.
- Requires a fundamental understanding of servers, networking, and the development life cycle.
- Strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions. The ability to prioritize work effectively and address issues in a timely manner is essential.
