Involved in all stages of the development life cycle, through requirements analysis, coding, unit testing, system testing, UAT and warranty-support.
Role expectations :
– Experience in working with clients to understand requirements, come up with the product architecture, design and estimate efforts in implementation of Design Concepts, Patterns and Principles and develop applications in business intelligence projects.
– Ability to front end customers operators with technical and business acumen desirable to build integrated enterprise class software product suite .
– Lead a team of 6-8 engineers closely with complete authority and accountability to deliver high quality software products in a fast paced environment .
– A passionate technologist with a thirst for knowledge.
– Experience with Agile software development methodology and working with distributed development teams preferably worked in Jira tool.
Project Responsibility :
– Experience in implementing reporting solutions .
– Work closely with team members such as Data Analysts, QA and other ETL engineers to develop and release new capabilities as well as research technical requirements and resolve issues .
– Ensure the quality, completeness, security, privacy, and integrity of data .
– Leverages industry best practices for reporting solutions .
– Participate in client calls and prepare the clarification list to seek clarifications .
– Prepare the list of requirements and seek review inputs from the key stakeholders .
– Update requirements traceability matrix .
– Create impact analysis document for simple change to understand the impact on the existing functionality as required .
– Work experience in Power BI, Power M and Dax.
– Experience in snowflake and azure data factory are value added.
– Very strong experience on Tableau Functions, Tableau Data Prep and Tableau Visuals.
– Good experience on end-to-end Enterprise BI development & deployment.
– Developing data Models, Data Preparation with Data Flows and designing BI reports.
– Proven experience in writing advanced calculations and expressions.
– Good experience in writing SQLs and Stored Procedures over SQL Server, data Lakes.
Technical Expectations :
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience .
– Minimum of 8-12 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role .
– Working knowledge with Apache Tomcat, Git, Ajax, JSON, REST APIs .
– Working knowledge with AWS Cloud,SQS,SNS, Lambda – Exposure to AgileScrum methodologies
– Exposure to DevOps, Continuous Integration and Deployment Process .
– Experience in Kubernetes, Power BI and sound knowledge in Dockers is mandatory .
– Experience with GIT, Continuous Integration systems (Hudson Jenkins) & Bug Tracking (Jira) tools.
– Experience creating complex SQL Queries and using ETL tools.
– Creating Analytical dashboards and enhance data visualization using Tableau.
– Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
– Gather requirements, design specifications, develop technical and user documentation and report development.
– Certification from Tableau and Power BI would be preferred.
– Knowledge on Big Data AWS technologies (S3, RedShift) are preferred.
