The Challenge
As Director of Analytics, you will have an opportunity to define the strategy and develop the Analytics practice for SIXT R&D. The role requires the individuals to have ownership across Delivery, Stakeholder engagement, people development and continuous improvement.
While you make a difference by providing analytical thought leadership and drive actionable insights to drive business impact across the organisation. Also, Oversee data collection and BI activities ensuring alignment with departmental and business-wide vision and strategies.
You will also be managing a team of Product / Business / Data analysts responsible for driving data-backed business decisions through deep analysis and insights/model generation. You will be closely working with leaders across Product, Business, Technology, etc. to implement impactful data-driven decisions.
What do you need to succeed?
- Engineering Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities: Data driven with attention to details. Proficient in quantitative analysis, statistical/data science techniques.
- People management skills: Ability to build, lead and mentor large teams of analysts,
- Ability to conceptualise and craft CXO-level presentations.
- Be a thought partner to leadership on the organisations vision, priorities, and challenges.
- Ability to course correct and deliver in a changing business environment.
- Strong background in statistical modelling and experience with machine learning/data mining tools such as SQL, Spark, SAS, and Excel. High expertise in implementing machine learning and AI models.
- Good to have working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Google Looker, etc)
