What You’ll Do
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Data Science space for clients to engage with and influence executives through customer-focused solution development and value-intent delivery.
- Translating technical requirements into a business solution for clients, allowing them to understand the functional benefits for the business.
- Head the Data Science capabilities and collaborate with other Data & Analytic practice leaders to develop collateral, including go-to-market offerings, marketing materials, and thought guidance based on key trends and use cases (e.g., Data Strategy, Modern Data Architecture, Data Governance, etc.) or in select business segments (e.g., Marketing Analytics, Sales Performance Management, Financial Analytics, etc.).
- Spearhead business development and delivery of projects in Data Science to solve complex client problems and deliver actionable insights across verticals with the right and smart use of structured and non-structured data.
- Drive knowledge management locally and in collaboration with other markets to provide solutions to our local clients.
- Guide a team of talented Data Scientists who will build and code on client engagements
- Steer and mentor team members in data and analytics topics along with creating custom growth plans for the team members.
- Qualify and progress opportunities through the sales cycle (spearheading solution discussions, designing proposals, and writing statements of work).
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in Data & Analytics, Machine Learning and/or Data Science.
- Experience in the consulting industry, including previous technical pre-sales experience.
- An ability to build and establish relationships with new and existing clients/customers.
- Proficiency in at least one of the major cloud vendors Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- An ability to provide guidance to people and teams, along with an ability to lead delivery in the consulting services industry.
- Experience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Qubole etc., is a plus!
